Why akaushi beef
Akaushi (Red Wagyu)
Akaushi is another word for Red Wagyu, this beef is well known for it's high marbling , tenderness and mono-unsaturated fat content. According to the American Heart Association, mono-unsaturated fats can lead to lower cholesterol, prevent coronary heart disease and help with weight loss. The higher concentration of the mono-unsaturated fats in the Akaushi beef also leads to a rich, buttery flavor and tenderness in the meat.
EZ Ranch started the journey into Akaushi beef in 2021, in 2024 we will be offering our customers Akaushi beef for grain finishing only. If you are interested in an Akaushi grass finished beef, please send us an email.
Price List
Akaushi Cross Beef
All our Akaushi cross beef is half Akaushi and half Angus Cross, they are all DNA verified animals. Our Akaushi cattle will be grain finished on non gmo grains. All Natural beef that is grown on pasture and supplement with hay when needed. Our cattle are not given any hormones, or any mRNA vaccines. Antibiotics are only given when needed for the healthy and well being of the animals life and those animals would be removed from the beef program.
Whole Beef
This is an estimated total cost. The final price is based off the final weight of the animal. Customized cuts on a whole. About 410-440 pounds of meat back. $500 deposit is required to reserve a whole.

Half Beef
This is an estimated total cost. Final price is based on the final weight of the animal. Customized cuts on a half. About 215-240 pounds of meat back. $500 deposit required to reserve a half.

Quarter Beef
This is an estimated total cost. The final price is based on the final weight of the animal. Standard cuts. About 95-120 pounds of meat back. $250 deposit is required to hold a quarter.

Akaushi Cattle
This is Alvin the Akaushi Bull. He breeds both our purebred Akaushi cows and selected commercial cows.
