Why akaushi beef

Akaushi (Red Wagyu)

Akaushi is another word for Red Wagyu, this beef is well known for it's high marbling , tenderness and mono-unsaturated fat content. According to the American Heart Association, mono-unsaturated fats can lead to lower cholesterol, prevent coronary heart disease and help with weight loss. The higher concentration of the mono-unsaturated fats in the Akaushi beef also leads to a rich, buttery flavor and tenderness in the meat. 


EZ Ranch started the journey into Akaushi beef in 2021, in 2024 we will be offering our customers Akaushi beef for grain finishing only.  If you are interested in an Akaushi grass finished beef, please send us an email.

Akaushi Cross Beef

All our Akaushi cross beef is half Akaushi and half Angus Cross. Our Akaushi cattle will be grain finished on non gmo grains. All Natural beef that is grown on pasture and supplement with hay when needed.

Whole Beef

This is an estimated total cost. The final price is based off the final weight of the animal. Customized cuts on a whole. About 410-430 pounds of meat back. $500 deposit is required to reserve a whole. 

Half Beef

3350.00

This is an estimated total cost. Final price is based on the final weight of the animal. Customized cuts on a half. About 215-230 pounds of meat back. $500 deposit required to reserve a half.

Quarter Beef

1675.00

This is an estimated total cost. The final price is based on the final weight of the animal. Standard cuts. About 95-110 pounds of meat back.  $250 deposit is required to hold a quarter.
